These tips can help you save money and reduce your household’s environmental impact.

Reduce

Reduce junk mail by opting out. Tips here.
Reduce Water Use
Reduce Electricity Use, and save money.
Use low-energy light bulbs and energy-saving smart power strips
Get a water filter for your faucet, or install an under sink filter. Then fill a water bottle instead of purchasing bottled water.

Reuse

Use cloth grocery bags. Keep them in your car so they are always with you when you shop.
Choose washable kitchen rags instead of paper towels, and re-usable cleaning tools (like a mop) instead of disposable cleaning cloths such (like swiffer)

Recycle

Bottles and Cans can be recycled for money. Find a recycling center.
Mixed recyclables (newspaper, magazines, mixed paper, plastic, aluminum) are accepted here:

Towing

If someone is parked unauthorized in your carport, you have the right to tow the vehicle.

First, call the Santa Ana Police Department (714-245-8665) with a description of the vehicle. You will be given a “Private Property Impound” (PPI) number, which authorizes you to call a towing company.

Then, call a towing company.

If your vehicle is towed, call the Santa Ana Police Department (714-245-8665) for the name of the towing company that has possession of your vehicle. Do not call the Management Company.

Pets can be a great joy and also a great responsibility. These guidelines will help you enjoy your pet in a responsible manner.

You are responsible to immediately pickup after your pet in all public areas of The Redwoods.
Pets must never be left unattended on patios or balconies.
Orange County requires all dogs to have a Dog License. If the police respond to a barking dog call, they now require proof of the dog’s license. Pet owners who do not have a current dog license are subject to a $120 citation.
Get a Dog License.
Encourage good behavior and limit barking by making sure your dog gets plenty of exercise and attention, and by training your dog. Find dog training in Santa Ana.

Vehicles parked in the uncovered parking spots from 10:00pm to 6:00am are required to have a valid parking permit displayed.

Additionally, residents are responsible to see that your guests have the proper permit and are parked legally.
